Who introduced you to soccer? and how old were you when you started playing?
My Dad introduced me to the game and I've been playing since my earliest memories around 3-4 I think.
who was your favourite player growing up?
If you could tell an aspiring footballer 3 things to achieve their goals and dreams what would they be?
Enjoy getting better everyday, train consistently and be focused. You have to enjoy the process of becoming a better footballer everyday because in our sport we play once a week but train five times a week, so you have to love to train. Only through consistent practice will anything become better so you have to commit to training as often as possible. Lastly be focused, block distractions and fall in love with what's right in front of you.
How old were you when you decided to become a professional soccer player and fully commit your time to it?
I would say it's something I've always dreamed about so maybe 10 or 11.
What is something most people don't know about you?
I like to write.
What is your favourite colour?
Other than soccer do you have any other hobbies/Talents?
I can speak Spanish around an intermediate level and I love to keep learning more, hopefully one day I can speak fluently.
Did you attend or are attending university while you were playing soccer?
Yes I went to Trinity Western University & played while I was there.
Where do you see yourself in 20 years?
At the highest level of football as a coach.
How would your friends describe you?
To be honest I'm not sure, you would have to ask them.
Do you have any nicknames?
Lij or Young Lij.
Lastly, what is your greatest fear?
Waking up and going to work in a job unrelated to football.
